I just picked up a high roof extended length transit about 3 weeks ago. About to start building it out. I was originally planning on getting the medium roof extended model, but this one was too good of a deal to pass up. It has the ecoboost engine in it - the computer says it's getting 16 mpg at the moment.
I really haven't driven it much yet to see how accurate that is, but I assume it won't change much. This ecoboost engine rips - it's got a ton of power and is fun to drive. I'm glad I ended up with the high roof because I have some ideas on how to build some shallow cabinets up top that I think will come in real handy. Handles like crap, sucks driving. Tail gate is so high, it's like it's a 6' lift on it, but all stock. Hard loading a bike for sure. So think I may take a loss and pull the trigger on the medium roof lwb transit. Also who did y'all finance threw?
